Starting from company PT Catur Insan Pertiwi established in 1984 and ended in 2008, precisely in November 18, 2008 PT Catur Insan Pertiwi was acquired by PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk. and substituted its name into PT Wijaya Karya Insan Pertiwi (WIP). On 28 November 2013 the Company carry out the transformation again to capture EPC market opportunities by changing its name into PT Wijaya Karya Rekayasa Konstruksi (WRK).
Currently, the Company manages Construction and Fabrication works which includes mechanical and electrical works as well as Operation & Maintenance.
Construction and fabrication projects that have been completed and in 2014 are SDS Dumai Refinery Expansion project, and the ME project, Piping, Instrument and DCS Marunda
